Why it matters
Anyone maintaining a building at height needs something safe to attach to. An anchor that was badly placed or has never been inspected is worse than none: it looks safe and isn’t. Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005, equipment that prevents or arrests a fall has to be suitable, correctly installed and inspected.
What we install and inspect
- Single-point anchor devices on roofs, parapets and steelwork
- Eyebolts for façade, glazing and maintenance access
- Horizontal lifelines along roofs and edges
- Inspection of existing systems, with a written report on what passes and what doesn’t
Standards
Anchor devices to BS EN 795, selected, installed and inspected in line with BS 7883.
Why rope access technicians
We place anchors where they’ll be used, on access routes we’d rig ourselves, and we reach the roof edge, parapet or façade to install them without a scaffold. The same team can then clean and inspect the glazing or maintain the building from them.
What you get
- A site-specific RAMS before we arrive
- LOLER and PUWER records for every rope, device and harness
- Certificates for every technician on site
- A completion certificate for your CDM file, H&S manager or insurer
