The cost of doing nothing

Nesting birds block gutters and drains, and their droppings corrode metal, stain stonework and damage roof coverings and plant. They also carry disease risks for staff and visitors. Cleaning deals with the mess; proofing stops it coming back.

Why use rope access for bird proofing

On many bird proofing jobs, the access costs more than the proofing. Rope access removes the scaffold and the platform hire: we rig from the roof, fit the system and leave, with nothing blocking your frontage or car park.

Systems we fit

Netting

Tensioned netting to keep birds out of light wells, loading bays, courtyards and façades. The mesh size is matched to the species.

Spikes

For ledges, parapets, signage and pipework where birds land and roost.

Wire systems

Tensioned wires that stop birds landing, with less visual impact than netting or spikes.

Solar panel protection

Mesh around the edge of solar arrays to stop birds nesting underneath.
